HUNTR/X’s “Golden” Hits No. 1 On UK’s Official Singles Chart, Making It 1st Ok-Pop Tune In 13 Years To Do So

The “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack has scored a No. 1 hit in the UK!

This week, the Official Charts (broadly thought to be the U.Ok. equal to Billboard’s U.S. charts) introduced that fictional woman group HUNTR/X’s track “Golden” (sung by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami) had topped the Official Singles Chart.

“Golden” is barely the second Ok-pop track in historical past—and the primary in 13 years—to achieve No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart. The primary was PSY’s iconic 2012 hit “Gangnam Type,” which topped the U.Ok. chart over a decade in the past.

In the meantime, two songs by the fictional “KPop Demon Hunters” boy band Saja Boys rose to new peaks on the chart this week. “Your Idol” (sung by Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, U-KISS’s Kevin Woo, and samUIL Lee) broke into the highest 10 for the primary time, climbing to No. 10 in its fifth week on the chart, whereas “Soda Pop” adopted shut behind at No. 11.

Moreover, TWICE’s Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung’s model of “Takedown” entered the chart at No. 63 this week, whereas TWICE’s 2024 hit “Technique” (which is included on the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack) debuted at No. 85.

Congratulations to the forged and crew of “KPop Demon Hunters”!
