Kaskade, the digital music icon behind a few of the style’s largest pageant anthems, has revealed undux, his first album in 10 years.
Whereas Kaskade has launched a number of long-form initiatives over the previous couple of years, together with a reimagined model of his seminal Hearth & Ice album, his Kaskade Christmas collections and numerous Redux data, undux stands as first conventional studio album since 2015’s Automated. That challenge spawned “Disarm You,” certainly one of his most prized tracks amongst followers.
undux represents a notable shift for an artist who’s spent roughly three many years defining the emotional contours of EDM with timeless hits likes “Eyes” and “Environment.” Kaskade has constructed his popularity on euphoric dance music, however undux is alleged to dial down the dopamine in favor of a deeper sound.
The brand new album will deal with love, grief, private upheaval and what it means to rebuild after breaking. In line with a press launch, Kaskade’s lyricism will thread themes of “reconnection, renewal and emotional honesty.”
