However they rightly conclude “There may be nothing higher than singing a woman’s title over a heavy chord. “There isn’t a Sally, however she’s turned up in a great deal of nice tunes. Ramona could be our Sally, till I write a track about Sally too.”
The story behind the track goes just a little deeper and is impressed by a boy shedding his thoughts over a woman and attempting to navigate his approach on the planet. It’s a traditional story befitting a classic-sounding single. Ramona was recorded at Orange Hill Studios in Brentford working alongside proficient engineer and music photographer James Stirrat and Cheff Cuco who combined the monitor.

The title Howling Hawk simply seems like a band you must see reside!
