Lucrecia Dalt kicked off this 12 months with “cosa rara,” a collaboration with former Japan frontman David Sylvian. It seems the music comes from her new album A Hazard To Ourselves, which was co-produced by the art-rock legend. The Colombian artist is releasing the second single “divina” as we speak.
“Up to now, I usually turned to motion pictures and texts as mirrors to form my tales, guiding me away from revealing an excessive amount of from inside, inventing remoted fictions,” Dalt says of the document. “This time, I needed to create music that flows cinematically and units a panorama to inform a love story that flirts with improbability, the miraculous and the mysterious.”
“divina” certainly flows cinematically; the tune is lush and delicate in its masterful magnificence. It comes with a music video directed by Tony Lowe; watch under.
