The Ocean and guitarist David Ramis Åhfeldt have parted methods. Based on an announcement by Åhfeldt, he is leaving the band purely for private causes and that there is no unhealthy blood between himself and The Ocean. Åhfeldt‘s closing present with The Ocean can be at Hellfest on June 21.
This additionally marks the second departure from The Ocean in 2025, the primary being drummer Paul Seidel again in February.
“I’ve determined to step down from my place as guitarist of The Ocean,” wrote Åhfeldt. “The explanations are purely private, and I wish to be clear that there is completely no unhealthy blood between any of us. I really like the blokes deeply and can at all times be glad about the experiences we have shared over time.
“With out getting too deep into it, I’ve come to appreciate that I am not comfortable being concerned within the band — and that is one thing I am unable to ignore.
